From a schizophrenic, to a spunky small town girl, actress Kangna Ranaut has portrayed a variety of characters onscreen. But she says her role in Revolver Rani is her toughest so far.
“My role in Revolver Rani proved difficult to portray. It was my toughest role so far,” Kangna said. “It’s an unusual film, and I’ve have taken a lot of care to look ‘unattractive’ it. The focus has been on looking ‘beautiful’ in all my other films.”
Tabu was reportedly approached for the role before Kangna. Directed by Sai Kabir, the film is being co-produced by Tigmanshu Dhulia and Rahul Mittra.
The actress, who was seen in Shootout at Wadala, is happy with the kind of films she is doing. She said, “It’s going to be an exciting year for me. I am doing different roles in each film and am extremely happy with the scripts I am being offered.”
